In-Industry Training :
As a part of the university regulations, the students are required to under go in-industry training of six months duration, in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the BTech degree. The period of in-industry training can also be divided into three months, each in two separate industries as per the following schedule:
Electronics & Comm. Engineering From the first week of January to June (in 8 th Semester)
Electrical Engineering From the first week of January to June (in 8 th Semester)
Computer Science & Engineering From the first week of January to June (in 8 th Semester)
Electronics & Instrumentation From the first week of January to June (in 8 th Semester)
Mechanical Engineering From January to June (after the exams of 7 th Semester)
The T&P Cell maintains vide range of data of companies and helps the student to opt the appropriate industry for the same.
Summer Training :
For the overall development of technocrats, the summer training for the second year students is organised in the different labs and workshops of the Institute, in the months of July and August every year. Internal examiners evaluate 60% marks and the external examiners evaluate 40% marks.
Campus Placement :
For the proper placements of final year students the T&P cell invites the different industries for the campus placements. The Institute provides all the infrastructure and allied information required by the visiting industries. Students also participate in Pool Campus Interviews. The students of our last two batches have been placed well in the reputed concerns.
Admissions and Job alerts:
The training cell, with the coordination of web designing team provides all the required information for the future admissions, after the graduation of engineering on our web site.
Also to facilitate our passed out students and final year students, recent advertised job openings are put up on our web site, so that the students can prepare and apply accordingly.
Personality Development Programmes (PDP):
For the overall development of the would be engineers, the personally development programs like guest lectures, group discussions, brain storming sessions, debates, mock tests and interviews, case studies etc. are organised in the institution.
Industry-Institute Interaction :
As a part of industry institute interaction the T&P cell always remain in contact with the CII TDB T NET, C.S.I.R., and other R&D centres for arranging guest faculty lectures on Technical and general personality development and for arranging projects for the engineering students.
