| Prof.(Dr.) B. P. Garg, a stanch persona, Director-Principal ,GTBKIET, Chhapianwali attained his Post graduate and Doctorate degree from H.P. University, Shimla.His field of specialization is Fluid Mechanics. His virtue of competence and proficiency reflects in his contribution in various highest echelons such as Professor, HOD-Applied Sciences, Dean-Academics, Dean-R & D and various other prime responsibilities in different reputed institutions. He has also served as a Principal of BMSCIT & LS, Muktsar (Pb.). | ||||
| Apart from his Academic Qualifications,he has shown his penchant in organizing and attending various short term courses such as 8 days workshop in Human Values and Professional Ethics at IIT, KANPUR alongwith numerous Faculty Development Programs. He has in his credit the publication of 27 research papers in International Journals and 3 Research papers in National Journals. His contribution of serving as a Referee of one of the prestigious Journal of the National Science Academy, Allahabad (INDIA) and International Journal named Chemical Engineering Science (USA) is highly commendable. His visit to CHINA for the purpose of participating in 4th International Conferrence on Magneto Science in Shanghai University adds another feather in his cap of intellect. Further ,he has not brought himself to a standstill even after various accomplishments in his hand. He keeps himself encouraging in indulging such a sort of intellectual visits in order to refine his persona from better to the best.His resolute plan to visit JAPAN in November to attend an International Conferrence on Computational Fluid Dynamics, is a live instance of this.He is totally committed to the research work which reflects from the candidates pursuing their Ph.D. & M.Phil. degrees under his kind supervision (5 Ph.D. students from PTU , 1 Ph.D. student from HPU & 2 M.Phil. students from HPU). He has a live membership of National Academy of Sciences, Allahabad (INDIA), Rajasthan Academy of Physical Sciences and Journal of Mathematics and System Sciences.His expertise and wisdom has been reflected in deleivering expert lectures in various prestigious institutions.
