The Department of Electronics is a major Department of our institution having two programmes of B-tech viz. Electronics and Communication Engineeringand Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Both the departments consist of well-equipped and well-maintained Laboratories in the fields of Television, Computer, Microwave, Microprocessors, Communication and Digital IC. |
OBJECTIVES |
Based on the prescribed curriculum of the PTU the department objectives are :- |

To train the students to analyse, develop and design electronics circuits using the well established electronics softwares e.g. TINA, Workbench, PS-CAD. |
|
To study and understand the operation of electronic circuits based on analog and digital techniques. |
|
To understand the principles of communication through various mediums such as wireless, optical fiber, coaxial cable, twisted pair cable etc. |
|
To design optimized communication systems as per application and resources available |
|
To design and study various mobile communication networks using GSM,CDMA,etc.,systems |
