About the Program's:
HCL’s Job Oriented Training Program in IT Infrastructure Management : The Program focuses on providing hi-tech Training as per the curriculum to the selected candidates in the stream of Computer Networks, Network Operating Systems, Security, Storage and other IT Infrastructure Services. The intention is to produce candidates who will have capabilities to be productive in such areas of IT services where such training is successfully completed. The program has two major parts, first one of duration 6-8 weeks involves Instructor led training at HCL’s state of the art training centre at Hyderabad. Boarding and Lodging will be provided by HCL during this period of Instructor led training. This is followed hands-on practical training on-live projects of HCL for remaining part of the year with stipend of Rs. 5000/- per month. The above training is complemented with another program post confirmation which could end up making the candidate, manager, in HCL with in 18 months. Each candidate who is selected for the program, is assured of placements with HCL Infosystems Ltd. The proposed CTC will be Rs. 2.1 LPA. Eligibility B Tech.
HCL’s Sales & Marketing Training Program: The program focuses on preparing a new breed of technocrats who would be smart business developers also having a right blend of technical know-how. The yearlong training would be mentored by the vastly experience HCL employees. Candidates could also be nominated for an Executive Management Program from a Management Institute of good repute. An opportunity to gain 4 years of Hardcore Sales experience in and an MBA in 4 years!! Program involves 4 weeks of instructor led training at HCL Training centre. Boarding and Lodging will be provided by HCL during this period of Instructor led training. This is followed by practical training with Stipend of Rs. 7000/- per month during practical training. 1. Report shall be typed in English – British Font – Times New Roman, Size 12 font, Printed on a “A 4 size Paper”
2. Report shall be hard bound with cover page, colour for 5th Semester is of Light Pink & for 8th Semester is of Light Green, and printing on cover page in black colour only.
3. Inner page and cover page should same except the colour of inner page should be white.
4. Report shall be typed only on one side with double space with a margin 3.5 cm on left, 2.5 cm on top, 1.25 cm on right side and 1.5 cm from bottom. Number of Pages should be at the bottom (in center.)
5. Right top corner of every page of your report should contain your University Reg. No. , your Institute Roll No., and name of college as

6. All students must hand in * two* copies of the report (hardbound).

It is for the information of 2004 Batch students that Indian Air Force is visiting Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran for Joint Campus Placement drive, passing out in June 2008.
Venue: Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran
Date of Placement Process: - 3rd March 2008 to 4th March 2008
Eligibility :
Educational Qualifications: BE / BTech with First Class (Min 60% in aggregate with no present backlog) in Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation / Computer Science Engineering
Age Limit: Born between 02 Jul 1980 and 01 Jul 1990
Physical Standards: Minimum Height: For Boys 157.5 Cms , for Girls 152 Cms

Selection Procedure:
i) Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) – Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Test in different shifts on 1st Day.
ii) Declaration of result of EKT.
iii) All qualified candidates will undergo Phase-I personality test on the same/subsequent day
iv) All Phase-I qualified candidates will be issued call letters for Phase II Test at Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs) after clearance of Phase-I personality test result.
Note:
i) Students are required to bring with them all the documents mentioned given below:-
Original Certificates of all eligible candidates and the photo Identity Cards (Passport/ Driving License/ Voter ID or ID card issued by currently studying Educational Institution) will be checked on entry. Roll Nos. will be allotted by the FTS team on pre-filled FTS Performa (on A4 paper) which can be downloaded from www.cecmohali.org along with three passport size photographs.
ii) For reporting time & other important details, please look in for advertisement which will be released by Indian Air Force on 24th February 2008 or on any following date in the leading daily news papers.
iii) Boarding & Lodging will not be the responsibility of CEC, Landran.
iv) Eligible students can walk in with pre-filled FTS Performa for the said drive.
