The institute has Radio Link with 2 Mbps bandwidth. The neat and air-conditioned spacious computer labs have about 350 P-IV Computers. The students and faculty have convenient access to the information of the world. |

The department objectives have been defined within the overall curricula prescribed by the PTU for the degree of B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering. |
 To train the students to design and develop computer hardware. |
To learn & develop software that makes efficient use of current and developing hardware technologies |

Computer Department Having more than 300 IBM P-IV machines is divided in various labs as under: |

Lab-I (Internet Lab)
The lab is operating in "Open Source Enviornment". It has a Linux Server with 42 IBM, P-IV 2.66GHz, 256MB RAM, 80GB SATA HDD clients with "Open Suse" operating system connected to each other through switch forming star LAN. Internet lab has got a Radio Link having bandwidth of 2 Mbps All the systems in Lab are being controlled Remotely from the server.Two Printers and one Scanner have been also installed in this lab. |

Lab-II (Expert System Lab)
The Expert System lab also fully equipped with 20 IBM, P-IV 2.66GHz, 256MB RAM, 80GB SATA HDD based computers. |

Lab-III (RDBMS Lab)
All the practical's related to Oracle, SQL are held in RDBMS lab having 20 IBM, P-IV 2.66GHz, Oracle Clients and one Oracle Server. |

Lab-IV (Operating System Lab)
All the 20 machines with Unix/Windows platform are in LAN with Linux Server. |
|
Lab-V (Hardware Lab)
In this lab the students are trained for networking, assembling, trouble- shooting and maintenance of PCs and printers. |

Lab-VI (Project Development Lab)
This is the core lab of CSE department. All the software development activities are carried out in this lab. This lab is equipped with 38 Dell C2D computers. This lab has produced a lot of software. Some of which are currently being used in the institute. Some other are sold to different organizations which brought monetary benefits to the students. Work Culture of this lab induced Programming skills of budding Technocrats. |

Lab-VII (Computer Center)
Having more than 40 computers, the lab is for general uses of Staff and Students. They can practice their own technologies in the lab. |
