DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES |
Based on the prescribed curriculum of the PTU the department's objectives are:- |

To enable the students to learn the basic principles and theories of pure sciences which form the foundation of engineering. |

To develop, in students, essential communication skills to enable them to comprehend effectively various instructional activities during the course of their study and to become lifelong learners and prove effective in their professional career. |

To impart training in basic programming language and information technology to exploit the potential of computers effectively |

To enable students to develop understanding of mathematical concepts and principles and apply these to solving real life problems encountered in the profession. |

To impart basic knowledge of concepts, principles and skills in electrical engineering |

To create a moral and social awakening in students to make them conscious of their obligation to the society |
