DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES

Based on the prescribed curriculum of the PTU the department's objectives are:-

To enable the students to learn the basic principles and theories of pure sciences which form the foundation of engineering.

To develop, in students, essential communication skills to enable them to comprehend effectively various instructional activities during the course of their study and to become lifelong learners and prove effective in their professional career.

To impart training in basic programming language and information technology to exploit the potential of computers effectively

To enable students to develop understanding of mathematical concepts and principles and apply these to solving real life problems encountered in the profession.

To impart basic knowledge of concepts, principles and skills in electrical engineering

To create a moral and social awakening in students to make them conscious of their obligation to the society
